From Selling Silver Jewellery Online to Raising ₹975 Crores
Bengaluru-based jewellery brand GIVA secures major investment as it prepares to expand beyond 1,000 stores.
What started as an online silver jewellery business in 2019 is now preparing for more than 1,000 physical stores.
And investors are backing its expansion with serious money.
GIVA, the Bengaluru-based jewellery brand, has secured more than $100 million in a funding round led by Multiples Alternate Asset Management, with participation from existing investors Epiq Capital and Edelweiss Discovery Fund.
The transaction is valued at approximately ₹975 crore, including primary and secondary investments.
Founded by Ishendra Agarwal and Nikita Prasad, GIVA began by making silver jewellery more accessible to everyday consumers.
The business has since expanded into gold and lab-grown diamonds, moving beyond its original online-first approach.
Today, the company operates over 400 stores across India and Sri Lanka.
And its ambitions are growing.
GIVA plans to expand its retail presence to more than 1,000 outlets over the next three to five years, while investing in manufacturing and product development.
The company reported approximately ₹865 crore in revenue for FY26.
For founder Ishendra Agarwal, the next challenge will be scaling the business without losing what made the brand attractive to its early customers.
