This Indian Startup Just Raised ₹95 Crore to Help Businesses Go Green
Two Point O Capital secures $10 million to make solar energy, battery storage and sustainable infrastructure more accessible to Indian companies.
Going green sounds good. But for many Indian businesses, the biggest problem isn't willingness.
It's money.
Installing solar panels, battery storage systems and energy-efficient equipment can require significant upfront investment, making the transition difficult even for established companies.
That's the problem Two Point O Capital is trying to solve.
The Indian clean energy startup has raised $10 million (approximately ₹95 crore) in a Series A funding round led by Transition Venture Capital, with participation from Omnivore and angel investors.
Founded in 2024 by Karan Bhutani, Archit Mehrotra, Manya Ranjan and Shashidhar Reddy, the company helps businesses adopt clean energy infrastructure without bearing the entire initial cost.
Its approach combines financing, technology and project execution, allowing companies to focus on operations while improving energy efficiency.
The startup already works with businesses including Godrej, Wipro, JK Tyre and Morepen Pharma.
With the fresh investment, Two Point O plans to expand into battery energy storage while strengthening its solar power and wastewater treatment offerings.
It is also targeting sectors such as data centres, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
As India's industries face growing energy demands, Two Point O is betting that financing clean infrastructure could become a significant business opportunity.
