This Pune Startup Wants Delivery Riders to Earn More Using AI. It Just Raised ₹5 Crore
Backed by Antler India, Dispatch Network is using artificial intelligence to reduce wasted travel and improve earnings for delivery partners.
Ever wondered how much time a delivery rider spends travelling without an order?
For thousands of riders working with food delivery and quick-commerce platforms, those empty kilometres can mean wasted fuel, lost time and lower earnings.
Two entrepreneurs from Pune believe AI could help change that.
Dispatch Network, founded by Rajit Arya and Navneeth Kannan, has raised ₹5 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India.
The startup uses artificial intelligence to decide which delivery a rider should take next and where they should position themselves for upcoming orders.
And the results are interesting.
According to the company, its technology has reduced empty travel distances by nearly two-thirds, while riders on its network earn approximately 55% more per month than the industry average.
Since launching operations in Pune in June 2026, Dispatch has completed over 1 lakh deliveries, with monthly orders growing to 55,000 in October.
Its network serves platforms including Zomato, Swiggy, Zepto and BigBasket.
With fresh funding, the company plans to strengthen its AI technology and expand into Mumbai.
For Dispatch, the mission goes beyond faster deliveries.
It's about making every kilometre count for the people delivering our everyday essentials.
